Em sua palestra, o autor debate a importância da Convenção de Nova Iorque, uma das convenções de maior sucesso no campo do direito comercial. Contudo, o palestrante nos mostra que ainda há muito a ser feito, tanto em relação aos países que ainda não aderiram quanto em relação à uniformidade de interpretação daqueles que aplicam a Convenção de Nova Iorque.
